Link Exchange Examples and Ideas

Link Exchanges benefit from the instructor's ability to compose prompts that participants will respond to as they share information about resources over the Web. The flexibility of the prompts means that the modules can be used for research activities, evaluation exercises, collaborative development of projects and more. See some examples below.
Jennifer Heller provides an excellent example of using a link exchange to collect numerous resources to be shared by the class.

Suzanne Cadwell uses the prompts associated with the link exchange to ask students to look for specific information about the sites they are viewing.

Joy Salyers uses the link exchange to incorporate the exploration of Web resources into the unit themes of a course.
